Job DescriptionUnder the direction of the Operations Manager, this individual will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on a shift basis at the site level while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. The Relief Gaming Manager will ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, motivate, and lead by example, and provide an environment conducive to learning. The successful candidate will also develop performance objectives and deliver performance evaluations for direct reports. In addition, this individual will implement all new initiatives as directed and actively participate in the recruitment and hiring process.Duties And Responsibilities Will IncludeProviding leadership, direction and mentoring to slot, F&B, and cage operations at the site level as well as developing performance objectives and delivering performance evaluations for direct reportsUpholds exceptional Guest Services at all timesAssist in developing operations promotions and schedulingSupports F&B Operations as neededReview revenue and labour reports; makes recommendations on opportunities for efficiencies.Training team membersPrepare and submit slots reportsManaging team members’ performance and attendanceInspecting the gaming floor for repair, maintenance and facilities reportingLiaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDeveloping and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team membersEffectively conflict management with guests and team membersVerifying requests for fills, credits and inventoriesEnsuring compliance with licensing laws,



health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforming other duties as assignedC Andidates Will Demonstrate The Following QualificationsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a management roleHigh School Diploma; Post Secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience an assetMust have superior verbal and written communication skills; problem solving abilitiesMust be reliable and diligent, while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentialityComputer literacy in MS OfficeWillingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and skilled developmentProven leadership, managerial and motivational skills.Able to manage a large variety of projects and tasks simultaneously.Ability to obtain Serving it Right certificateThe ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Independent Gambling Control Officer(IGCO)An understanding of the close working relationship with BCLC technical staff and a thorough knowledge of the BCLC Policy & Procedures as they apply to machine gaming.Experience in Food & Beverage Management an assetKnowledge of the gaming industry standards an assetA passion for providing Great Experiences and Memories to our internal and external guests in the continual quest of achieving service excellenceCandidates must be ready and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
