Company Description


Windsor Collaborative Practice is a privately owned cooperative practice with co-leadership model for NSH nursing. We are a group that includes 4 physicians who practice under the LFM model, looking for coverage so we can take staggered vacation over the summer months. Supportive colleagues and a great environment to practice in. We are located 40 minutes from Halifax and are on MedAccess EMR. Very flexible with schedule hours and dates. Coverage would fall under the locum program, no additional overhead required and billing is included.


Job Description


Windsor Collaborative Practice is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage any part of July 2, 2026 until August 31, 2026, 2-5 days a week.


Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage,



per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
