The role will include research, analysis, selection, planning, and implementation of complex solutions ranging from software and service stacks to entire datacenter roll outs and migrations.The Senior Systems Engineer will bring valuable perspectives, derived from deep skilled experiences, with the ability to convey benefits and detractors of any solution offered. You will bring a strong understanding of monitoring methodologies and solid documentation practices. cross department relationships to meet common objectivesStrong verbal and written communication skills to convey findings to non-technical stakeholdersMust be able to work independently and take initiative on projectsMust be able to work on a team and inspire increased productivity from teammatesMust be able to think and adapt quickly to meet business needsA natural curiosity to explore system improvements and persistence to solve challenging problemsYour Experience Should Include:Minimum of 7 years' work experience in operations and infrastructure4+ years of experience working in public cloud, M365 and similar technologies2+ years of experience as a senior team member executing complex projects and deliverablesExtensive knowledge and experience with enterprise hardware and virtualization stacks (Cisco UCS, VMWare, SANs, ISCSI networks)Deep understanding on VMware's platform (VCF preferred)Experience with backup platforms, methodologies and validation techniques (Veeam preferred)Strong knowledge maintaining Active Directory domains and Entra ID environmentsSolid knowledge of networking technologies and conceptsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsBonus Points If You Have Any of TheseExperience with Open-Source platforms (Proxies, HA, Web services, Monitoring tools)Experience with developing KPIsExperience with DevOps (ADO) methodologiesExperience with MDM platforms (Intune preferred)Copilot Studio and Power Platform experienceJob Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with Operations team members and the wider IT Dept to offer solutions to business needsMaintain and support VMWare, Active Directory, SANs and other components that compromise a on-premises enterprise environmentWork with the IT Dept and business to develop and maintain backup and recovery strategiesIdentify and research high-value improvements to physical and virtual infrastructureMaintain and tune monitoring tools to provide validated alerts when needed and limit alert storms and fatigueDevelop methods to facilitate non-disruptive update and upgrade paths for enterprise systemsAbility to automate where possible using various tools (Scripting, power automate/logic apps,
