Emergency Medicine Physician – Strait Richmond Hospital

Strait Richmond Hospital is seeking two Emergency Physicians to join their group. The hospital is a Level 3 emergency department located in Richmond County, servicing the local community and the southern portion of Inverness County.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope of emergency care within the Eastern Zone.


• Participate in medical calls and cover shifts as required.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary services such as community rehabilitation, hemodialysis, laboratory, mental health & addictions, occupational therapy, palliative care, and physiotherapy.


• Maintain qualified responsibilities and quality of practice,
  
  
  
  operating within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Qualifications

• ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and advanced airway training required.


• Full‑time or locum opportunities available for specialists or FM+ emergency physicians.
