Patient Care Coordinator – Fredericton, New Brunswick Avant Respiratory provides clinical consultation, diagnostic services, and treatment for a wide range of sleep disorders, helping patients across Canada sleep better and live better. Were growing, and were looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Fredericton team.

What You’ll Do

• Be the first point of contact for patients and team members, answering questions and helping them get the support and care they need


• Collect patient medical histories and insurance information, and keep medical charts and patient data up to date


• Coordinate appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and follow-ups


• Answer and screen incoming calls, determining urgency and routing or scheduling as needed


• Support patients through insurance pre-authorizations and claims


• Track clinical activity and prepare reports as required


• Keep equipment clean and in positive working order,
  
  
  
  arranging maintenance or repairs when needed


• Take on other related duties as they come up

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, supportive attitude


• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or customer/client service


• Strong communication skills and a professional, mature demeanor


• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask


• Comfort learning new systems and processes


• Experience with an EMR system is an asset


• Experience in healthcare or sleep therapy is an asset, but not required – we provide training


• Bilingual French/English is an asset

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM


• Job Type: Full-time


• Pay: $18-$24/hour, based on experience
