Your Role
Located 3 hours outside of Edmonton, this role is a residential only role. Relocation expenses will be provided. As part of the operations team, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the everyday activities of an underground limestone quarry/mine, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive operations. This includes leading and developing a high-performing team, monitoring production processes, and driving continuous improvement to meet operational targets. You will also ensure strict adherence to environmental and safety standards while collaborating closely with maintenance teams to maintain equipment reliability.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Overseeing daily operations of the underground quarry to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Managing and training quarry staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.
- Monitoring and optimizing production processes to meet targets.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability.

Work Environment
- This position is based in an underground quarry setting
- Fly-in/fly-out arrangements are not available
- 10 hour days, Monday to Thursday
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and physically demanding tasks
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
