Responsibilities

• Planning, directing and analysis for multiple entities


• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results


• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements


• Coordinating activities of external auditors


• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process


• Managing the entire budget process for all entities


• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing current processes


• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems


• Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed


• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics


• Overseeing regulatory reporting,

• Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff


• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.


• Maximizes return by monitoring bank balances and investments


• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.


• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.


• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.


• Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.


• Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.


• Troubleshooting with warehouse and operational staff.
