As the Design Build Engineering Lead at Tritech, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception through to completion. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers while ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design and engineering processes for various projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and construction personnel, to ensure seamless integration of design and build phases.
• Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs and specifications, providing constructive feedback to enhance project outcomes.
• Develop and implement best practices for design and engineering processes, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the team.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations, translating them into actionable engineering solutions.
• Oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations, ensuring clarity and precision.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering design and project management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of professionals.
• Strong understanding of design-build project delivery methods and related contractual frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit,

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations applicable to engineering projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced workplace, adapting to changing priorities and project demands.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation or equivalent certification.
• Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Lean principles.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
• Previous experience working in a client-facing role, enhancing customer relationships and satisfaction.
