Duties are assigned by Lead-Hand/Mechanical Superintendent.QualificationsLicensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T)310J Truck–Trailer Service Technician license considered an asset3rd year apprentices are welcome for our developmental programRegistered for DriveON portalValid Ontario Driver’s LicenseKnowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance ProgramsKnowledge and experience in engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repairKnowledge and experience in heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steeringKnowledge and experience on Bosch Rexroth salt management systemKnowledge and experience in fabrication and welding considered an assetGood knowledge of trade related worksite safetyExperience on industry related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, snow-plow trucks, winter maintenance attachments, loaders, grader, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc.Capable of working overtime as requiredCapable of performing call out to attend vehicle breakdownBenefitsThis role is a unionized position with wages and benefits as outlined by the collective agreement.
