The Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is recruiting a locum Radiologist in the Cardiothoracic Division. The anticipated start date is 1st July 2026 or sooner.

About Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (SHSC) is a fully affiliated hospital of the University of Toronto with over 1,212 total beds, of which 677 are dedicated to acute care. The radiology practice is composed of more than 50 subspecialty radiologists.

The division of Cardiothoracic performs imaging for Odette Cancer Centre, one of the largest cancer centers in Canada, and Schulich Heart Centre, one of the largest cardiac centers in Ontario.



It also manages high volumes of trauma thoracic imaging as Sunnybrook Emergency Department is Canada’s largest Level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thoracic imaging activities, including chest x‑ray and computed tomography.
• Work day shifts to support the cardiothoracic division.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Province of Ontario.
• Experience performing subspecialty work in thoracic imaging.
