Overview: This role will manage a third-party grant-funded project focused on energy retrofits and building/facilities upgrades, with heavy emphasis on audit-ready documentation, structured financial reporting, and cross-departmental coordination.
Must-Haves:
7+ years of experience in
Project Management
within the
facilities/capital
domain
Grant compliance and audit experience , managing projects funded by third-party grants (e.g., ERA/Enerva), including maintaining audit-ready documentation and detailed reporting
Sustainability / built environment
domain knowledge, including
energy retrofits ,
HVAC , or
carbon reduction
initiatives
Rigorous
financial invoicing , structured,
detailed invoices broken down by project applications, rates, and hours to satisfy
grant reimbursement
requirements
Nice-to-Haves:
Strong diplomatic/stakeholder management skills across disparate departments (Sustainability, Finance, Properties/Facilities)
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day delivery of the grant-funded building upgrades project on a 0.5 FTE basis
Maintain audit-ready documentation and detailed reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Produce structured, detailed invoices broken down by application, rate, and hours for grant reimbursement
Coordinate and communicate across Sustainability, Finance, and Properties/Facilities stakeholders
Sustain project momentum independently given the part-time/fractional schedule
