You ensure your team delivers a delightful, low-cost and easy-to-use service to clients while meeting all compliance expectations. You train and coach your team to be cohesive, healthy and engaged. You start each day by getting together with your team to review new communications, workflows and goals.You lead by example and guide your team to assist clients to find the right solutions for their shipping challenges. You work cohesively with our Client Support, Compliance and Returns teams when troubleshooting client issues, and you work hard to exceed your allocated daily target to keep above your monthly trend. You dedicate part of your day to working alongside your team, merchandising products and signage to uplift the store's visual appearance and communication. At the end of the day, you ensure your team delivers an end-of-day report, highlighting the key daily numbers and creating an action plan for the following day based on your weekly plan.You work primarily out of our Port Coquitlam (BC).



Work location may be subjected to change as per Operational needs.Responsibilities to Clients and PartnersOversees all branch operations to ensure strict adherence to all compliance expectations, policies and proceduresEstablishes and implements values, vision and mission into everything we doBe a voice and ear for the team as well as for the business and the clientsProvides coaching, training and guidance to all branch personnel and mitigates conflict resolutionInteracts and develops a positive rapport with customers and represents the company in a professional manner while taking every chance to build our businessPromotes employee satisfaction with Employee Retention a key goalProvides support and regular feedback to the Executive Management TeamResponsible for the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the branchManages inventory effectivelyResponsible to ensure full compliance with all company safety and risk management policies and proceduresSome receptions and administrative duties and the ability to handle all customer inquiries via telephone, email and face to faceEnsure the compliance of shipments and reviews are completed thoroughly and accuratelyResponsible for educating clients on shipment compliance needs (Canadian, US, Internationally re: restrictions, weight, dims, packaging)Ensure batch accuracy during processing and uses the appropriate indicators for batch identificationResponsible for complete BOL should be true and accurateMust possess the ability to provide proper and appropriate documentation/escalation of shipment and client challenges or inquiresEnsure shipment processing and compliance reviews are completed within a timely mannerMust support Drivers with loading and unloading freight.Perform fulfillment tasks as needed (picking, packing, shipping, charging etc.).Additional responsibilities as requiredClient ServiceAnticipation and responsivenessSolution providerTeamwork and Organizational skillsInterpersonal skillsQualificationsCurrently, branch hours are Monday to Friday 10 am to 6pm.Two (2) years of branch/store management experience requiredP&L experience preferredStrong computer skills including expertise with Moneris, Google docs and Microsoft OfficeWilling to accept full accountability for branch operationsAbility to stand for long periods of timeHeavy lifting may be requiredAbility to multi-task with attention to detail and remain positiveMust be proactive and happy to help our logistics process to run smoothly, jumping in where necessary to help outExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong Typing Skills -Minimum 50 WPM and1+ years opening and closing Office1+ years office administration experiencePossess a passion for serving people, going above and beyond and making it right for the customersTrustworthy, organized, reliable and has a positive outlookAdditional InformationClass 1 safety shoes required (green triangle patch).This is a full-time, permanent position.Total Rewards and Compensation:Hourly Wage: Starting$19.00 per hourEmployer paid Group Benefits (Health, Dental and Vision; 80% coverage).
