What you'll do

- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, and resource allocation, while effectively communicating these to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure all team members are informed and engaged.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any challenges encountered.
- Foster a positive team workplace, encouraging collaboration and open communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Utilize project management tools and software to track progress, manage resources, and maintain documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members, providing guidance and sharing best practices.




- Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure their needs are met throughout the project.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within project management practices.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, engineering, or information technology.
- Proven experience managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced setting and manage competing priorities.
- A valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

Nice to have

- Experience in managing projects in the public sector or with government agencies.
- Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and practices.
- Experience with budget management and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
