Job Overview

Terra Nova Medical Clinic in Richmond, BC is seeking a locum Family Physician to support Dr. Julie Wilson during maternity leave. The position commences Oct 15 2022 and runs until Oct 1 2023 (with optional earlier start Aug 23 2022 or later end Aug 31 2030). Hours can be full‑time or part‑time and can be scheduled on a flexible basis (any day between 8 am–7 pm, 1–5 days per week).

Signing bonus of $12 000 for a full year or $6 000 for the first six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑person patient visits for Dr. Wilson’s existing panel in Richmond.


• Work flexible shifts, 1–5 days per week, self‑scheduled within clinic hours.


• Support telehealth care as needed and collaborate with the clinic team.


• Maintain high clinical quality, documentation, and mandatory billing procedures using the Juno EMR/Clinic Aid system.


• Ensure patient care continuity while collaborating with office staff, including a manager and 10 clinical assistants.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Family Physician licensed in British Columbia.


• Experience with mandatory billing and telehealth workflows is advantageous.


• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
