- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems and respond to incidents as they arise. - Document processes, configurations, and system architectures to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential application within Solace. - Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, with a strong focus on cloud technologies. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation tasks. - Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. - Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, and HTTP/S. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar. - Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with branching strategies and workflows. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Nice to have - Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design patterns. - Knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and their management in cloud environments. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello for project management. - Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-paced tech company.
