Working closely with the President, the Director provides financial leadership and insights that support business growth, profitability, and sound decision‐making. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong accounting practices, processes, and internal controls while helping drive the continued success of this growing, fast‐paced division.This role is located at our Precedent Land Company Head Office located in Vaughan, Ontario.You'll Stand Out if You Bring:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related discipline7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior management or leadership experience in a multi‐divisional, matrixed organization, preferably within a public or private homebuilding or land development companyDemonstrated expertise in cost accounting within the homebuilding, construction, or land development industryAdvanced proficiency with financial systems, accounting software, and reporting tools, with a track record of optimizing processes and leveraging technology to enhance financial reporting and decision‐makingThe Precedent Land Company Experience:At Precedent Land Company, we believe that imagination unlocks opportunity. The expected annual salary range for this role is $135,000 - 165,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a short term incentive program.Please note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only.
