Communities worldwide face complex water challenges. Our water professionals work together to deliver cutting-edge, sustainable solutions. As Water and/or Wastewater Sr. Project Manager, you’ll lead planning and engineering design of infrastructure projects that serve diverse communities.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead teams of design professionals and technicians.


• Mentor and guide staff, developing high‑performing project teams.


• Perform business development tasks, collaborate with staff to increase project wins and build long‑lasting client relationships; routine tasks include participating in business line teams to manage and develop proposals.


• Conduct client‑facing business development activities, including meetings, walk‑downs, and presentations.


• Prepare scope of work documents and estimates.


• Collaborate with multiple business lines to develop opportunities.


• Perform quality reviews.


• Lead engineers/designers in developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.


• Manage design and construction of projects.


• Develop project management plans, establishing goals and objectives for unique and complex projects.


• Ensure projects achieve budget, schedule, and contractual obligations.


• Coordinate quality assurance and control, facilitate independent technical reviews.


• Assist with permitting process, meeting with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and agency personnel.






• Make decisions on large projects, coordinate with regulatory review for final approval.


• Manage projects of varying complexity within multidisciplinary teams.


• Research and understand regulatory and other drivers impacting projects.


• Assist business leaders in project revenue forecasting.


• Oversee proposal development, including scope and level of effort of comparable size.


• Implement decisions and recommendations governed by policy and governance.


• Support industry visibility and business development by participating in conferences, committees, and technical knowledge sharing activities.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Inspire project teams to higher levels of achievement.


• Review and coordinate designs and studies.


• Understand local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements.

Education and Experience

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.


• Minimum 15 years of project management experience, preferably water and/or wastewater facility projects.


• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) preferred.






• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.


• Demonstrated leadership experience defining direction for team, project, and office; strategy development; change management; corporate stewardship.


• Travel to other offices and project sites may be required.

Pay Range

• Locations outside Lower Mainland (BC & various Ontario) – $135,700 – $185,700 annually.


• Locations in Lower Mainland – BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario – $136,300 – $204,500 annually.

Pay Transparency

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided where required. The final agreed compensation is based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles may be bonus eligible. Part‑time compensation is pro‑rated.
