and follow established techniques to performEnsure shop equipment and tools are in safe operating conditionMaintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA StandardsPerform other job-related duties as assignedAssist in maintaining inventory and reporting in M5 programRequirementsValid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certificate OR currently registered as a Level 3 apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario in the Truck & Coach (310T) trade.Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience.Valid Driver’s LicenseBasic hand tools and willingness to secure additional tools as neededKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of all tools required to perform repairs and maintenance on vehiclesAbility to follow schedules, instructions, technical manuals and maintenance guidelines, and other procedures associated with the maintenance of the company fleetAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external customersStrong work ethic, demonstrating integrity and trustAbility to prioritize workload and meet time sensitive deadlinesAbility to be a self-starter capable of working effectively in a team environment or as an individual contributorExcellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to read, write, and comprehend reports and associated documentsAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructionsFlexibility to accept and adapt to change as well as the commitment to seek continuous improvementAbility to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects (repetitively)Ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example: two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm)

May be exposed to unpleasant sights, smells, and to dangerous and/or toxic substances.Physical DemandsModerate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping/gripping, and pushing/pullingWork utilizing personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, safety-toed boot, utility gloves, reflective vest, hearing and eye protection, hard hat, etc.Work outside and inside, around moving objects, vehicles, and machinery with moving parts.
