Job Title: Technology Architect - Senior
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Duration: 174 Business Days with possible extension

Pay Rate: CAD $120 per hour

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for a high-profile public sector project. In this role, you will design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures while integrating Azure services with complex on-premises and legacy enterprise systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, security, and enterprise architecture groups to deliver contemporary cloud solutions using Azure best practices within a hybrid Agile environment.
Must Have:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Microsoft Azure to design and implement solutions using cloud native services and architectural patterns available on the platform
- Minimum of 7 years of implementation experience with cloud-based service offerings such as SaaS and PaaS, including integration between cloud and on premise systems (hybrid cloud)
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure identity, governance, monitoring, data storage, security, networking, and integration solutions
- Minimum of 15 years of working experience with industry standard databases that involves database design and modelling, PL/SQL development,



system performance tuning, and database administration

Role and responsibilities.

- Design and implement secure, scalable Microsoft Azure cloud solutions using cloud-native services and hybrid cloud architecture.
- Architect and integrate Azure services with enterprise applications, databases, and legacy systems using APIs and microservices.
- Develop Azure solutions for identity, security, networking, governance, monitoring, data storage, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, security teams, and vendors to define technical solutions and provide architectural guidance.
- Lead technical design, requirements gathering, solution documentation, and ensure compliance with Ontario Public Service (OPS) standards and Agile delivery practices.
