ensuring strong sales presence while customers are onsitePromote ALL Meeting Planner program; follow departmental policies and safety policiesConsistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to internal and external customersSupport the goals, objectives and philosophies of Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Pacific Rim and Fairmont WaterfrontEmbody AccorHotels values: Guest Passion, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation, Trust & RespectFollow departmental policies and safety policiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of five years hotel sales experience requiredBachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree preferredMultiple years of experience in a senior sales role in a luxury hotel environmentMultiple property sales experience an assetExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalComputer literacy in Opera Sales & Catering/SFA System (or other CMS), Microsoft Office, Cvent, LinkedInGoal‐oriented, competitive and well organizedStrong interpersonal and problem‐solving abilities; proactive sales role modelAbility to analyze financial data to create winning group strategies and solutionsPositive attitude, firm and supportive, team‐based approach to ensure attainment of short‐ and long‐term goalsAbility to travel and work flexible hours and daysLocationThe role is based at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The candidate will be required to facilitate important customer activities at the downtown Vancouver properties and may need additional business travel.Visa RequirementsMust be legally eligible to work in Canada.
