About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Enterprise and Financial Risk Management. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the design, implementation, and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, as well as establishing and maturing the Financial Risk Management oversight capabilities.



The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent challenge and oversight of the company's risk profile, including various financial and non-financial risks. This includes working closely with executive leadership, finance, treasury, and business partners to ensure that risks are identified, measured, monitored, managed, and reported in line with the company's risk appetite framework and regulatory expectations.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in risk management within a regulated financial institution, with a robust background in enterprise and financial risk management. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in building and enhancing risk management frameworks, oversight programs, and governance processes. Technical expertise in financial risk disciplines such as credit risk, capital management, and liquidity risk is essential, as is a deep understanding of regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, with a professional designation such as FRM, CFA, CPA, or equivalent being preferred. The role demands a strategic thinker who can also operate in a hands-on capacity, and who is adept at influencing senior stakeholders and driving organizational change.
