A plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems and equipment in a fast-paced industrial setting. The role involves troubleshooting system issues, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate ensures all work meets safety standards and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support operations and system improvements.ResponsibilitiesInstall and modify piping systems, fixtures, and equipment used for water supply, drainage, steam, and compressed airAssemble, fit, and connect pipes, valves, pumps, and related components using appropriate tools and techniquesPerform routine inspections and repairs to ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and reliablyIdentify and diagnose issues such as leaks, corrosion, blockages, pressure fluctuations, and system inefficienciesUse testing equipment and visual inspections to determine root causes of failuresExecute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on plumbing systems and related equipmentMonitor system performance and recommend improvements or replacements as neededRespond promptly to emergency breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution of issues impacting operationsEnsure all work is completed in accordance with applicable plumbing codes, environmental regulations, and company policiesWork closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support operational needsAssist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgradesAcademic / Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Certificate of qualification in a related trade, 306A PlumberRequired Skills / ExperienceLicensed Plumber (Journeyperson)3+ years of experience,
