Primary Responsibilities

- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, its assets and personnel.
- Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
- Make periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
- Control access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
- Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Apply de‑escalation techniques to manage conflicts or tense situations effectively and safely, minimizing risk and ensuring a calm resolution.
- Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
- Use of communication systems to report and inform.
- Monitor intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
- Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Prepare logs and reports as required.
- Satisfy client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client’s property and assets.
- Ability to use computer systems.

Requirements

- Current and valid Security License
- A valid OFA 1/ Basic First Aid certificate
- Must have excellent technological skills.
- Excellent report writing skills
- Highly observant,



attentive and vigilant.
- Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Knowledge of handling different alarm systems
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Must be able to patrol for long hours
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- A professional and a team player
- Experience using de‑escalation techniques and conflict resolution
- Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
