What you'll do
- Operate the Challenger 604/605 aircraft in accordance with all regulatory and company standards, ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and briefings, ensuring all systems are operational and ready for flight.
- Lead and manage the flight crew, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground personnel to ensure smooth operations during all phases of flight.
- Develop and implement flight plans, taking into account weather conditions, air traffic, and other factors that may affect the flight.
- Monitor and manage in-flight systems and equipment, making real-time decisions to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and career development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, addressing their needs and preferences during the flight.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the aircraft is well-maintained and any issues are addressed promptly.
- Conduct post-flight debriefings with the crew to review performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements
- Valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with type rating for Challenger 604/605.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pilot-in-command on multi-engine jet aircraft.
- A minimum of 2,000 total flight hours, with at least 1,000 hours in jet aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proven ability to make quick decisions under pressure and in challenging situations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by flight schedules.
- Familiarity with flight planning software and aviation communication tools.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a corporate aviation environment.
- Additional type ratings on other aircraft.
- Experience with international flight operations and customs procedures.
- Knowledge of advanced avionics systems and flight management systems.
- Proficiency in a second language, enhancing communication with diverse passengers.
