In this full-time role, youll play a pivotal part in a family medicine community dedicated to comprehensive patient care. Youll collaborate closely with specialists while handling inpatient care and engaging in outpatient addiction treatments. This position also offers mentorship opportunities while working with Indigenous populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver inpatient care and collaborate with various specialists
• Participate in low-risk obstetrics and emergency medicine
• Lead outpatient opioid agonist therapy management
• Establish an outpatient detox unit for patient support
• Mentor residents and facilitate clerkship programs for students
Requirements:
• MD degree and eligibility for licensure in BC required
• Interest in community medicine with Indigenous community engagement
• Preferred experience in addiction medicine
• Collaborative, team-focused individual
• Full time commitment expected
