Anaplan Model Builder/Solution Architect

Profile Summary:

As an Anaplan Consultant, you will lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Anaplan solutions for financial, supply chain, and operational planning use cases. You will act as the functional and technical lead across project phases—from requirement gathering and solution blueprinting to model deployment and user training.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end Anaplan solutions across financial, supply chain, and operational planning use cases.
- Architect scalable models and maintain best practices for Data Hub design, model optimization, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
- Translate business requirements into detailed solution blueprints, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Build, configure, test, and maintain complex Anaplan models, including dashboards, modules, lists, and data integrations.
- Ensure model scalability, performance, and usability by applying advanced modeling techniques and best practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand planning processes, identify optimization opportunities, and drive process transformation.
- Conduct model audits, design reviews, and performance tuning sessions to ensure consistent model excellence across projects.
- Support pre-sales activities including demos, proof of concepts (POCs), and solution estimation.
- Mentor and guide Anaplan Model Builders on technical standards, best practices, and certification readiness.
- Collaborate with internal and client IT teams to define integration architectures, security policies, and data flow frameworks.
- Document technical designs, maintain repository of reusable components,



and contribute to internal accelerators and best practice playbooks.
- Stay updated with the latest Anaplan platform capabilities, new features, and model-building innovations to continually enhance solution quality.

Requirements

- 7–12 years of experience in EPM or enterprise planning domain
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan with Solution Architect-level exposure
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect (mandatory)
- Deep understanding of Anaplan’s Hyperblock, workspace management, and ALM
- Experience with FP&A;, supply chain planning, workforce planning, or sales performance management
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Exposure to integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) and Anaplan Connect/REST APIs
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines
