Why this role is important?

The role is critical to maintaining our high‑quality, compliant prescription delivery that supports Shoppers Drug Mart’s transformation of healthcare across Canada.

What you'll do:

- Conduct product verification on all compliance packs prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery
- Operate and maintain the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine® (VBM)



used to generate and produce weekly compliance packs for SDM stores
- Verify compliance packs using the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine® (VBM) Software
- Prepare and package medications
- Verify each package quickly and accurately
- Prepare compliance packs for delivery
- Ensure proper stock levels and inventory management
- Ensure proper storage, handling, disposal of drugs and return to stock procedure in accordance with SOPs
- Commit to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

What you bring :

- A minimum of 1 year of continuous work experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital or Retail) is an asset
- Experience with high volume filling environments is an asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking skills
- Attention to detail
- Team‑mate and leadership skills
- Must be able to complete work with minimum supervision
- Comfortable standing for portion of the shift
