Support a busy technical portfolio with multiple production systems and act as a key player in facilitating cross‑functional meetings, aligning clinical and technical priorities, and driving strategic initiatives.Opportunity to apply expertise in system design, workflow analysis, production troubleshooting, and application integration in an operations‑based environment.Deliver comprehensive business, technical, and systems analysis for Surgery, Anesthesia, and Medical Device Reprocessing services across Fraser Health.ResponsibilitiesSupport implementation and uptake of specialized electronic clinical solutions used for Surgery, Anesthesia, and Medical Device Reprocessing across Fraser Health.Enable portfolio activities, including supporting project implementations, providing operational support for systems, and developing technical and business documentation.Facilitate collaborative meetings with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to align on goals, surface challenges, and drive consensus.Act as a liaison for clinical programs by translating complex workflows and operational needs into technical requirements and system design specifications.Perform detailed workflow analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments to support system enhancements, upgrades,



and integration initiatives.Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to support system integration, interface design, and data exchange between clinical applications.Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues across integrated clinical systems, working with infrastructure, application, and vendor teams to resolve problems.Develop detailed artifacts such as process maps, technical specifications, data mapping documentation, interface requirements, and test plans.Support system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), release coordination, and production readiness activities for recent features and upgrades.Utilize knowledge of health informatics standards, interoperability, and clinical systems architecture to inform solution design and implementation.Translate business needs and clinical workflows into application requirements based on project management processes and the SDLC.Apply strategic thinking to guide solution design, prioritize initiatives, and support long‑term portfolio planning.Improve operational support, system reliability, and sustainment of enterprise systems within the portfolio.Provide strategic planning support and change management services by leading senior‑level support and guidance in streamlining processes and best practices.Lead, develop, and maintain business processes necessary to facilitate provider access to health and corporate information systems through feasibility studies and user requirement assessments.Provide senior‑level business analysis by carrying out workflow analysis, developing business information requirements and models, defining scope, and planning, designing,



or modifying business processes.Lead small projects and provide project management guidance to Business Analysts under the direction of the Lead or Portfolio Manager.Analyze and diagnose health information systems applications or business issues, providing resolutions and supporting business process or functional changes.Develop Service Level Agreements between Informatics and assigned business areas to support project transition to operational status.Resolve operational issues identified internally or externally from the Informatics Customer Service desk.Participate in development, implementation, and evaluation of health informatics goals, objectives, policies and procedures.Participate on assigned internal and external committees, collaborating as a member of the Health Information Systems and Services team.Qualifications Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Health Information Systems Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of recent, related experience in a medium to large sized organization.
