This is a great opportunity that can provide flexibility, valuable work experience, and a chance to work with a tenured team.Please note: By applying to this posting, you are applying for opportunities that may be available at any Vintage Hotels or Niagara's Finest Hotels property.Position Summary: Clean and turndown guest rooms as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor and assist in training of new Turndown Attendants when required.Duties and Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities:Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunityCollect assigned rooms and other duties as requiredAssist with Guest service of PM requests, amenities, set up of cots/cribsPrepare turndown rosesProvide turndown service: replenish and refresh the Guests' amenitiesAdd all necessary supplies to the room as requested or neededVacuum and remove all dirty dishes and traysHaving a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties' products and servicesSuggesting additional products and services meeting our Guests' specific preferencesAssessing guests' individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services.Actively seeking ways to meet Guests' product or service needsProvide assistance to PM Lobby Attendant to service pool towels based on business demandsKeep work area and hallways well maintained and cleanedAll other duties as assignedProfessional Requirements:Grade 10 EducationBasic literacy in EnglishPrevious up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an assetPersonal Attributes:Capable of prioritizing work and handling a variety of tasksConfidence in selling and up-selling productsPositive sales-oriented personalityDesire to meet goalsEthical and honestPhysical Requirements:Some lifting may be requiredRequired to have valuable physical staminaStanding and walking throughout majority of the shiftLais Hotel Properties Limited is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace where all individuals are valued and respected.
