Responsibilities

  • Maintain a secure work environment and manage employee development.
  • Plan and manage all functions related to production/manufacturing in the business sector.
  • Lead labor relations efforts in partnership with stakeholders to exceed business goals.
  • Ensure on‑time delivery and product quality while implementing continuous improvement initiatives and applying the CORE concept.
  • Coordinate operations transformation initiatives and implement Lean Manufacturing techniques and principles.
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent to ensure the right skills and motivation.
  • Lead high‑performance work groups and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Implement new systems and processes that optimize resource utilization and customer experience.
  • Set performance expectations and hold employees accountable to achieve results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience,



    or Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years.
  • Strong management experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent command of French and very good English (spoken and written).
  • Autonomous, proactive, strategic leadership, building trust and teamwork.
  • Talent selection & development, focus on results, communication & listening.
  • Business innovation, adaptability, analytical capability, forward thinking, customer focus, business judgment.
  • Working knowledge of English for reading technical instructions, plans, drawings and terms from international organizations.
