Fraser Health is expanding its Addiction Medicine and Substance Use Services and seeks enthusiastic physicians to provide team-oriented care. This position features various time commitments, including full-time, part-time, and casual shifts, in a supportive environment dedicated to improving patient access to evidence-based treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive addiction medicine services
• Collaborate with a close-knit healthcare team
• Support equitable patient access to care
• Engage in community-focused healthcare initiatives
• Cover locum and casual roles as needed
Requirements:
• Active College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC licensure required
• Preference for experience in addiction medicine
• Certification from ISAM or ABAM is a plus
• CCFP(AM) is an advantage
• Dedication to patient equity and access
