Bank is searching for a skilled Driver who will support food distribution across the city. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours a week, you’ll ensure timely deliveries and develop robust connections with suppliers and donors. Join a mission-driven organization that serves over 200,000 food hampers annually, supporting those in need. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain relationships with suppliers and donors
Ensure timely completion of scheduled pickups and deliveries
Evaluate donations for quality before accepting
Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained
Follow food handling and safety protocols Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience driving a 5-ton truck
Explicit Driver’s Abstract; Air Brake endorsement an asset
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Mechanically inclined; forklift experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely Help drive food security efforts at the Calgary Food Bank and ensure quality service to our community.
