With a solid emphasis on transmission analysis, you will prepare generator interconnection applications, perform advanced studies, and guide ISO/RTO clients through system impact evaluations.
A minimum of 6 years' experience in the field will be essential for successfully managing complex engagement projects. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze transmission planning and load flow studies
Create and assess generator interconnection applications
Guide clients through ISO feasibility and impact studies
Use modeling software for stability and contingency analysis
Foster automation initiatives to streamline engineering processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering mandatory
At least 6 years of power systems engineering experience
Proficiency in software like PSS/E, PSLF, or TARA
Experience with Python or similar programming desirable
Advanced understanding of power systems and ISOs/RTOs is beneficial
