Lead outreach initiatives with Atira Women’s Resource Society in Vancouver. As the Director, you will guide programs that champion anti-violence and community support. This full time leadership role requires an extensive background in non-profit operations and community engagement.
You will oversee outreach, shelter programs, and ensure adherence to feminist and anti-oppressive principles. The position emphasizes empowerment and intersectional practices, aligned with Atira's commitment to systemic change and respect for all identities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight for outreach and community programs
Manage program budgets and performance metrics
Support Program Managers and frontline staff
Ensure compliance with organizational standards
Develop funding proposals and grant applications Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, Master’s preferred
Extensive non-profit management experience
Solid knowledge of feminist and anti-oppression practices
Excellent leadership and communication skills
