Üphoria Yoga is looking for a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (ECE or ECEA) to join our Afterschool Yoga & Mindfulness Program beginning this fall.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fun, movement-based environment where children develop confidence, resilience, mindfulness, and healthy habits through yoga, games, creative activities, and outdoor adventures.

Position Details
Monday–Friday / must be available to start from September 8th
2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Flexible schedule: 1–5 days per week
Part time
Independent Contractor position (with potential for future growth)

Responsibilities
Supervise and engage children ages 5–10 in a safe, positive environment
Lead or assist with yoga, mindfulness, movement games, crafts, and group activities
Foster positive relationships with children and families
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment
Follow safety procedures and studio policies
Assist with school pick-up when required (training provided)

Qualifications
Valid ECE or ECEA Certification (or currently enrolled)




Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
Criminal Record Check suitable for working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, positive, and passionate about working with children
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets
Experience teaching or assisting with children's yoga
Background in mindfulness, dance, movement, recreation, or physical literacy
Class 5 BC Driver's Licence (an asset but not required)
