Overview

We are looking for a skilled Curry Chef to craft delicious, traditional curries and other Indian-Pakistani dishes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents, contribute to a lively kitchen environment, and delight our customers with exceptional food. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties
Prepare and cook authentic Indian-Pakistani curries and related dishes with precision and flair
Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety regulations and hygiene standards
Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers in the restaurant or during take-out orders
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations




Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to enhance flavor profiles
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or food industry setting
Robust knowledge of Indian-Pakistani cuisine, especially curry preparation techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred
Multilingual communication skills in English, French, and preferably Hindi are advantageous
