This permanent, full time role in Knoxville, TN, Madison, WI, or Vancouver, BC, reports to the Senior Director of Physics Analysis. You’ll be pivotal in developing high-fidelity models for stellarator design, utilizing predictive modeling techniques. Engage with plasma physics to enhance data-driven decisions that propel fusion energy advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop integrated modeling frameworks for plasma simulations
Perform predictions using gyrokinetic turbulence simulations
Contribute to validation of plasma physics simulation tools
Analyze core-edge modeling for plasma performance
Collaborate with engineering on system optimization

Requirements:
PhD in Plasma Physics or related fields
Strong background in numerical simulation methods
Experience with gyrokinetic codes and MHD tools
Proficiency in Python, C++, and HPC settings
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
