CMP Co-VP Events are responsible for planning and executing CMP Home Base's signature events and recurring social programming throughout the year.

Time Commitment

4–6 hours/week

Term of Employment

July 2026 – April 2027

Main Responsibilities
Plan and execute CMP's two anchor transition events: the Welcome Week Kickoff (September) and the Mid-Year Reset (January)
Organize recurring drop‑in coffee chats and casual monthly mixers throughout the academic year
Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, guest outreach, and event flow
Work closely with Co‑VPs Marketing to promote events and drive attendance
Gather post‑event feedback and iterate on programming based on first‑year responses
Foster a low‑pressure, welcoming atmosphere at all CMP touchpoints

Qualifications




Robust organizational and operational skills
Creative, people‑oriented, and energized by building community
Able to make decisions independently and adapt under pressure
Excellent communication skills and robust time management
Experience with event planning or community‑building is an asset
