95 Developments is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to oversee safety compliance across a diverse portfolio of active projects, including low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise residential and mixed-use projects. This role requires a proactive leader to manage site-specific risks and ensure all field operations align with Ontario's health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Field Oversight: Conduct daily/weekly safety audits across all active sites.
Site-Specific Planning: Develop and implement safety, fall prevention, and rescue plans tailored to project-specific risks.
Hazard Intervention: Immediately stop and correct any unsafe work activities or conditions in the field.
Incident Management: Lead all accident investigations, analyze root causes, and execute immediate corrective action plans.
Compliance & COR: Maintain all safety documentation to meet COR standards and chair the JHSC meetings.
Regulatory Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for Ministry of Labour (MOL) inspectors and official regulatory bodies.
Training: Deliver site orientations, toolbox talks, and manage the company’s safety training records.
Qualifications
5 years of construction safety experience (Residential & Commercial preferred).
Required: JHSC Level 1 & 2 and a valid G License.
Required: NCSO designation and COR auditing experience.
Tech: Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office.
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of OHSA and Ontario Construction Regulations.
