Candidates will draft and modernize policies, support the Community Safety and Well-Being Strategy, and implement anti-racism initiatives. The ideal applicant should possess solid skills in project management and strategic planning to improve urban environments. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update branch policies and procedures
Collaborate on Community Safety and Well-Being implementation
Evaluate strategic initiatives alongside partners
Facilitate alignment of corporate and branch initiatives
Maintain performance management frameworks for policing practices Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in relevant fields
Minimum 2 years in policy writing and project management
Experience in community or social development
Knowledge of City Bylaws and related acts
Strong analytical and team-oriented skills Drive impactful change through policy analysis, research, and cooperative projects within Edmonton's Community Standards Branch.
