About the Company:
Our client is a food manufacturing facility and is one of the largest producers of cheese and other dairy products in the world.
They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to take on Licensed Millwright to their dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
Repair, overhaul and maintain packaging & production equipment including, but not limited to, hydraulics, pneumatics and production machines, conveyors, fillers, motors & gearbox, agitators, pumps, and DC controls
Provide technical guidance on machine set ups, and provide input into creating SOP's
Set-up and commission of new and used equipment
Ensure machines and equipment are in safe working condition, taking appropriate precautions to prevent risk to employees and to the product
Comply with all health and safety standards and regulations regarding the lockout/tagout of equipment
Fabricate parts, as necessary, utilizing maintenance shop tools and equipment
Train new employees, as required
Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
Must possess a valid 433A millwright certificate
Must possess a minimum of 2 years of millwrighting experience with prior experience working in a food manufacturing facility
Must possess a robust working knowledge of maintenance on food packaging and production equipment
Possess superior time management and problem solving skills
