Job Overview We are looking for a millwright to join our InterPro Pipe and Steel team.
Responsibilities Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain all mechanical equipment in a major producing unit or assigned area.
Receive instructions covering scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection work.
Inspect mill equipment for defects, such as misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication, etc.
Determine the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
Advise when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, assemble, and lubricate mechanical equipment.
Adjust equipment for proper operating characteristics.
Make either temporary or permanent repairs.
Assemble and align gears, bearings and shafts, involving the application of press, sliding and running fits.
Work with repair crew as directed on emergency breakdowns.
Other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements Must possess a Red Seal Journeyman Certificate or Alberta Journeyman Certificate.
Previous work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting is an asset.
Must be able to work rotating shifts (days & nights).




Must successfully pass the pre-employment screening process.
