Lead the Foster Care and Adoption Services team in Yellowknife, emphasizing clinical supervision and service improvement. Partner effectively with Indigenous governments to ensure quality outcomes.
As Supervisor, you will directly oversee four workers while reporting to the Manager of Placement Resources. This role is pivotal in promoting cultural safety and facilitating community engagement to enhance service delivery and quality assurance in the NWT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for adoption and foster care initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve services
• Manage recruitment and training of foster caregivers
• Develop training for staff and caregivers
• Ensure compliance with court requirements and standards
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in Social Work
• Minimum three years in related experience
• At least one year in a supervisory capacity
• Satisfactory vulnerable sector check
• Eligibility under Indigenous Employment Policy
