The ideal candidate holds a college diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering along with 5 to 10 years of experience in tooling design and industrial production. This role necessitates a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and advanced design techniques, particularly using CATIA V5. You will take ownership of tooling projects while collaborating with various teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and support equipment
• Analyze tooling design and address technical problems
• Conduct design reviews and implement risk assessments
• Collaborate with teams for tooling validation
• Maintain detailed documentation for tooling projects
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of experience in tooling design
• Expertise in CATIA V5 within a PLM setting
