We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a solid understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, including coordinating with dental receptionists for patient flow.
Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dentistry when required.
Utilize CAD technology for creating dental models or assisting in digital impressions.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within the dental field.
Familiarity with dental software systems.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in Dental Assisting ia mandatory.
