Our client, a privately held real estate company based in Calgary is seeking an entrepreneurial, results oriented SVP, Commercial Properties.
The Senior Vice President, Commercial Properties will identify opportunities to increase net operating income, improve marketability, strengthen asset performance, streamline operations, evaluate redevelopment opportunities, and support strategic decision-making at the ownership level for a portfolio of office and industrial properties in Alberta.
This position is ideal for a highly ambitious, entrepreneurial professional who wants the opportunity to make a visible impact, work directly with ownership, and build a proven track record of value creation within a substantial real estate portfolio.
The successful candidate will possess 10-15+ years of progressive experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, development, investment analysis, or portfolio management; a strong understanding of commercial real estate valuation, leasing, asset repositioning and capital planning; demonstrated success improving NOI, asset value, occupancy, and investment performance for multiple asset portfolios; advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities, excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. The candidate will be a skilled manager, team motivator, strategic thinker with strong business judgement, and entrepreneurial mind-set. An MBA, CFA or CPA are considered an asset.
