Role Description
This is a full time in office role located in Toronto, ON, for a Cashier/Barista at Aroma Espresso Bar. The role involves providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions at the cash register, and preparing specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, stocking supplies, and assisting with food preparation as needed.
Qualifications
Customer service and communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
Cash handling, transaction processing, and basic math skills for operating a cash register
Basic knowledge of espresso machines, brewing methods, and preparing high-quality coffee beverages
Organizational skills, cleanliness, and attention to detail for maintaining a sanitary and well-organized workspace
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Prior experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required
