As a permanent full-time Ceramics Technician, you will assist faculty in preparing student work and supervising ceramics studios.

Your role includes maintaining equipment, implementing safety procedures, and providing technical guidance. Support both teachers and students in their creative pursuits while overseeing the operation of the ceramics facilities. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate machinery and studio equipment safely
Implement health and safety procedures in the ceramics studios
Assist with course materials setup and maintaining supplies




Supervise students on class projects, guiding techniques and methods
Load, fire, and troubleshoot kiln operations regularly Requirements:
College diploma in Fine Arts or equivalent specialty
Prior experience in teaching/learning environments preferred
Knowledge of ceramics materials and techniques
Solid interpersonal skills and autonomous work ability
