*Must be able to lift 20kg bags of flour/sugar
Misty Pines Bakery and Cafe located in the Old City Quarter. We are looking for someone with a good attitude, work ethic and the drive for perfection! Our hours of operation are 8 am-4pm 7 days a week. The candidate must be available for early morning, weekends and holidays.
Duties
Morning bake-off and General Prep: Mixing doughs, proofing and baking bread and pastries, feeding starters, chopping/peeling/cutting fruits and vegetables for various jams and fillings
Maintain the quality and freshness of ingredients
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including equipment, personal tools and utensils; understand and abide by Health & Safety standards and Food Safe requirements
Monitor and log shortages as required
Cleaning down work area and writing an accurate prep list for the next day
Must be available to work various shifts, including as early as 3 am
Must be available weekends and holidays
