Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpet, Tile, and Hard Surface Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including carpets, tiles, and other hard surface options, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform spaces by delivering durable, visually appealing flooring solutions that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Duties
Measure and prepare surfaces accurately for installation using hand tools and construction techniques
Install carpets, tiles, hardwoods, vinyl, and other hard surfaces with attention to detail and craftsmanship
Use hand tools such as cutters, trowels, pry bars, and levelers to complete installations efficiently
Perform surface preparation tasks including subfloor repairs, caulking, and sealing to ensure a smooth finish
Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met within scheduled timelines
Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of workmanship





Requirements
Proven experience with flooring installation including carpet laying, tile setting, and hard surface work
Strong knowledge of construction practices
Proficiency in using hand tools common in flooring installation and carpentry tasks
Ability to perform surface preparation tasks such as caulking and subfloor repairs effectively
Experience with handyman tasks related to flooring projects is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various environments
